Thank you for the opportunity to pivot my application to the technical aspect of my experience. I chose these clients because our partnership has evolved my technical skills (filming and editing) over the last few months and my understanding of content that CONVERTS. These clients have been transparent about the type of editing and/or content that has performed well and we work together to incorporate that data into new concepts.
Also, notably, I am an ‘over 40’ creator, attracting brands with an ‘over 40’ audience, and certain types of editing do/do not resonate with that age group.
Women’s Hormone Support Supplement. Client provides a script and brief with general creative direction; I am largely given creative control over this interpretation and editing. Client likes quick jump cuts and lots of fast movement in the first 6 seconds of the ad, with the intention of showing the product in those first few seconds.
Client asked for exact style, copying a non-competitor concept. All my footage, filming, and editing. QUICK EDITS TO MUSIC
Client script/my creative: my suggestion of an over-the-top infomercial; my editing and filming; MASKING
Most recent concept; we used data from an earlier ad to determine this red top performs particularly well.
Public relations department for cattle farmers of Oklahoma. Scope of work includes :60-:90 second horizontal and vertical videos with :15 second versions of each, a script and voiceover, music, and one still photo of the final recipe. Recipes from beefitswhatsfordinner.com. My scriptwriting approaches the recipe from a storytelling angle, rather than reading the directions, giving viewers an incentive to actually watch the video, increasing viewership and analytics for the client. Currently in a partnership for 8 recipes throughout 2024.
Sometimes the vertical and horizontal versions are the same footage that has been arranged to fulfill visual requirements for both formats, filmed in 4K so the vertical version doesn’t lose resolution when scaled. Sometimes it’s the same action performed twice. Sometimes it’s the same footage and angle just rotated for the appropriate format. (final black screen for client to add their logo and website)
Client is given 4-6 photos to choose from and has always chosen an overhead setup that can work for both vertical and horizontal formats.
Also currently working on the same content package for DOLLAR GENERAL now, also 8 recipes in total.
Sofa covers targeting moms with kids, pets, and clumsy husbands. Sometimes I edit the full concept (videos below are my editing per their requested style); sometimes I send raw clips for them to edit. They are heavily driven by performance data, down to which angles of installing the covers perform the best. Our partnership has created a 1.53% CTR, and 1.61%-2.18% RoAS for their campaigns. They prefer transitions to look native to the platform (FB) but prefer new clips every 1.5-2 seconds.
For both examples, client provided script and storyboard. I filmed and edited per the storyboard.
Most recent work.
SNAP TRANSITION!
also, personal favorite (for the dry delivery)
Clients hired me for professional services UGC (legal, insurance) and asked me to make the dry content engaging. I used a combination of movement in filming, dynamic editing, wardrobe color, and dynamic captions to increase the likelihood of viewer retention and CTR.
